Kathryn Zaremba is an illustrator and surface designer based in Washington, DC and Austin, TX. Her playful designs and installations are inspired by the imaginative and interactive nature of theater sets and sound stages, as well as a keen interest in museums and art galleries.
Kathryn received a BFA in Interdisciplinary Art Studies from the Kansas City Art Institute in Missouri where she explored a multitude of media and materials including ber art, textiles, and ceramics. She then went on to receive an MA in Exhibition Design from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, DC.
Prior to moving to DC, Kathryn worked with celebrated designer Jonathan Adler in New York City. She also illustrated and designed textiles for fashion designer Rachel Antonoff.
Kathryn’s designs have been published in Elle Decor, Dwell Magazine, The UK Times, Washingtonian, and featured on Design Sponge, Apartment Therapy, and Refinery29.
