We are excited to announce that Hamiltonian alumni and artist, Katherine Tzu-Lan Mann has joined us as our second installation artist in a joint collaboration with our friends at 13|U. Her two new works Waterlily Walker (a multi-layered painting) and Water logger will be up until January 18, 2018.
Katherine received her BA from Brown University and MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. She is the recipient of a Fulbright grant to Taiwan, the AIR Gallery and Lower East Side Printshop fellowships in New York, NY, and the Individual Artist Grant and Hamiltonian Fellowship in Washington, DC. She has attended residencies at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Vermont Studio Center, Djerassi Resident Artists program, Triangle Workshop, Anderson Arts Center, Salzburg Kunstlerhauss, and Bemis Center for the Arts. Some of the venues where Mann has shown her work included the Walters Art Museum, Corcoran Gallery of Art, Rawls Art Museum, the US consulate in Dubai, UAE, and the US embassy in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Mann is currently an instructor at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
