<div style="text-align: justify;">We are proud to announce Hamiltonian&#8217;s fifth consecutive participation at SCOPE this December during Art Basel Miami Beach. The Hamiltonian Gallery booth will prominently feature the bold, colorful and humorous works of the Hamiltonian Fellows <a href="http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=xcgpzhcab&amp;et=1108552055927&amp;s=2652&amp;e=0015Yy5vDCs92T_mwFmHuE203kLO_syrvG5-IGdfZwos09YdSdtdIf0GFDjBd6XeJCCgc-UaBfHqecaz1PzfxVxh6fQbGz2EmLUJSN-pftbUKHPGpubczkHABC2q46H3tX50r1HglEt34rWUXSklEZpvHDX4g2BVwPS" shape="rect" target="_blank">Sarah Knobel</a>, <a href="http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=xcgpzhcab&amp;et=1108552055927&amp;s=2652&amp;e=0015Yy5vDCs92TUfOfdLQp3uKY67zaGHvbBm2JgtkQ2FP6ME2sHTy6KcxP3SNbJ4Q-RC8BGEkgZC1GFcxGpg3ZFC4BWzqf5z77VJM42uo8acSz0gB77X_xBmvlNle9j2VJiv3fNe84dV0LsEht0ZWeMwKzSm4YKv_T-" shape="rect" target="_blank">Matthew Mann</a> and <a href="http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=xcgpzhcab&amp;et=1108552055927&amp;s=2652&amp;e=0015Yy5vDCs92Q49HubbcRpi3ep3XLTGuDDBtwxBIgwf9PCgT5JXigo1Bm6iA1JwT3QFbuY9a1JCSKUvrO78gK60SvTvRGaTTbqHgtKoDmVAvOAo5RH4eL1u1hEMk9b5AzMK1UtWnhU--_n0H5KMCL1snBF1mh0i0l3" shape="rect" target="_blank">Jenny Mullins</a>. All ten Hamiltonian Fellows will be represented in portfolios at the fair as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">The fellows&#8217; participation in art fairs is not only an essential part of their fellowship experience, but is integral in the viability of emerging artists in the contemporary art market. When at the fairs, our artists are positioned on an even playing field with artists from all over the world, and their work is placed in front of international collectors and prestigious galleries.  This unmatched visibility is exhilarating for our artists and a great opportunity for further professional development.</div>

<p>We couldn&#8217;t agree more. Considering all of the cultural resources, museums and educational institutions, as well as the strong base of local artists and supporters, DC is absolutely ready to take the title as the new nexus for emerging artists and collectors!</p>
<p>In order to <em>maintain</em> the creative energy and momentum generated by the inaugural (e)merge Art Fair, it is vital that artists continue to have<em>  year-round access</em> to quality exhibition opportunities and support networks for artistic and professional growth.</p>
<p>Even in these challenging financial times, Hamiltonian Artists remains creative, committed and poised to address the needs of visual artists, and we hope that you will support our efforts by joining <em><a href="http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=xcgpzhcab&amp;et=1107972842255&amp;s=735&amp;e=0010vlaRngGVIqObgadyZD0cR8wmVKDUYBhfalq-QG3EtdbdQeybyT-S2DQCyLwBWcALn4Zh0ane-ZyyZnMdfq4AnVYpc2eOHc6pCvi14eeqqJyvdxa11hLBp0O4PtmgWqluzuuJ0ZD3oR2cZVKuno-Vw==" shape="rect" target="_blank">Hamiltonian Capital</a></em> or making a <em><a href="http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=xcgpzhcab&amp;et=1107972842255&amp;s=735&amp;e=0010vlaRngGVIrg6eqIsCbQTqp-Usyz3AWQFl9JzpXlAe0A6XhuBgj3x5IXYFSArQob5Q7rE4v5_8SIEBlAZbRIjlPr4gbBBDKxiixOQAUBUQr9RqFNCL4spKTEMmayE5H15j-krj0AR4w=" shape="rect" target="_blank">tax-deductible donation</a></em> to the fellowship program, today.</p>
<p>At (e)merge, we connected with many new artists, curators, galleries, fair visitors and collectors. We were excited to talk about our multifaceted <a href="http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=xcgpzhcab&amp;et=1107972842255&amp;s=735&amp;e=0010vlaRngGVIqOSpav0KulunpaIV0Ts-_uLBej0vox5-qktEAkOGVJ4CEXwwN4mZD3TXlbUtWeghbbnrBf5JBuTDJC4eBH0P51LxFXXvxN0r6PVauORc9-EGmDy9zPSSLK9d-rL9qdLio=" shape="rect" target="_blank">Hamiltonian Fellowship Program</a>and invited new and seasoned art enthusiasts to directly invest in the early careers of emerging visual artists by joining our new membership program, <em><a href="http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=xcgpzhcab&amp;et=1107972842255&amp;s=735&amp;e=0010vlaRngGVIqObgadyZD0cR8wmVKDUYBhfalq-QG3EtdbdQeybyT-S2DQCyLwBWcALn4Zh0ane-ZyyZnMdfq4AnVYpc2eOHc6pCvi14eeqqJyvdxa11hLBp0O4PtmgWqluzuuJ0ZD3oR2cZVKuno-Vw==" shape="rect" target="_blank">Hamiltonian Capital</a></em>.</p>
<p><em>Through &#8220;meet-the-artists&#8221; events, studio visits and other exclusive member benefits, this dynamic group of art enthusiasts and patrons drives the artistic success of emerging artists and contributes directly to the vibrant dialogue on contemporary art in Washington, DC.</em></p>
<p>With your help we can bolster the career success of our region&#8217;s most talented artists and amplify our vibrant artistic and cultural community, making Washington, DC a leader in the arts.</p>

As a graduate student you learn how to make your work but you never get a real chance to show it. There is stress, pressure and a host of other variables that never even cross your mind in graduate school. I feel very confident now my ability to put on a successful solo exhibition in the future, and the exposure from the Hamiltonian shows has garnered possibilities for that very opportunity.” Jonathan Monaghan, 2009-2010</p>
