- I’m interested in demystifying the role of the artist by revealing the processes.
- I’m interested in redefining documentary photography, by bridging it with fine art photography.
Short description about show…….
The images for this show consist of panoramic photo montage paired with maps that document the process and formula used to document the urban landscapes of Washington DC. Each image is composed on paper with a formula that will decide when and where to shoot the photos. The formulas are then applied to a map, film is put in the camera, and then I got out and follow my own directions. The result is not only documenting via the traditional image, but also documenting the process, the time, and the experience.
