Dear Friends of Hamiltonian,
The energy surrounding the (e)merge Art Fair last week certainly proved that Washington, DC is a pulsating center for contemporary art. Miami-based collector Mera Rubell even said:"People don't really know how much is going on- there is a thriving art scene in Washington, DC."
We couldn't agree more. Considering all of the cultural resources, museums and educational institutions, as well as the strong base of local artists and supporters, DC is absolutely ready to take the title as the new nexus for emerging artists and collectors!
In order to maintain the creative energy and momentum generated by the inaugural (e)merge Art Fair, it is vital that artists continue to have year-round access to quality exhibition opportunities and support networks for artistic and professional growth.
Even in these challenging financial times, Hamiltonian Artists remains creative, committed and poised to address the needs of visual artists, and we hope that you will support our efforts by joining Hamiltonian Capital or making a tax-deductible donation to the fellowship program, today.
At (e)merge, we connected with many new artists, curators, galleries, fair visitors and collectors. We were excited to talk about our multifaceted Hamiltonian Fellowship Programand invited new and seasoned art enthusiasts to directly invest in the early careers of emerging visual artists by joining our new membership program, Hamiltonian Capital.
Through "meet-the-artists" events, studio visits and other exclusive member benefits, this dynamic group of art enthusiasts and patrons drives the artistic success of emerging artists and contributes directly to the vibrant dialogue on contemporary art in Washington, DC.
With your help we can bolster the career success of our region's most talented artists and amplify our vibrant artistic and cultural community, making Washington, DC a leader in the arts.
Thanks for all your support!
