Two myths that need to be defied about the U.S. Fulbright fellowship program are: 1)Artists, musicians, performers, literary writers and journalists: you too are eligible to qualify for a fellowship. 2) No, it is not impossible to decipher the Fulbright program and application procedure. Artist and Fulbright recipient, Erin Treacy, will help decipher the Fulbright application process and show you how to put together a project proposal, how to find partners in your host country and answer other questions you may have. Erin Treacy was a Fulbright Fellow in Ireland 2009-10 and most recently a resident artist at The Golden Foundation for the Art and the Vermont Studio Center in 2012. She participated in numerous international residency programs and has shown extensively throughout the US and Europe. She received her MFA from UMASS Dartmouth and her BFA from Pratt Institute.
