Hamiltonian Artists is proud to announce six new, distinguished 2018 Hamiltonian Fellows to join our existing group of artists.  We are pleased to introduce:

The 2018 Hamiltonian Fellows were selected from a competitive pool of 115 very talented artists. The External Review Panel, comprised of five art professionals, evaluated every application and gathered to discuss each artist based on criteria regarding artistic merit and relevance to today's art world.  We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the panelists for their generosity and enthusiastic support of this endeavor:

  • Peter Nesbett, executive director of the Washington Project for the Arts

  • Tony Podesta, co-founder of Podesta Group and art collector

  • George Ciscle, curator and founder of the MICA MFA in Curatorial Practice

  • Lisa Dillin, artist, educator and Hamiltonian alumnus

  • Dawne Langford, independent documentary producer and curator

Artwork by all six new fellows will be on view in the debut group exhibition new.now., opening at Hamiltonian Gallery on Saturday, September 22 from 7-9 pm.
