Announcing new Artist Residency in partnership with Howard University

Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts will establish its first-ever Artist Residency through a $500,000 endowment from CulturalDC, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting underrepresented artists across the District.

Beginning in Fall 2027, in partnership with Hamiltonian Artists, the program will welcome artists from underrepresented groups to campus each semester, providing housing, studio or rehearsal space, financial support, and exhibition opportunities.
