Join us for open studios and meet a few of our current studio residents Daryle Locko, Genie Ghim, and Paula Mans. Visitors will get a behind the scenes look at works in progress, and have the opportunity to speak with resident artists about the ideas, techniques and materials that shape their work.

Daryle Locko (b. 2000) is an emerging DC-based artist known for his signature doodle-like self-portraits that explore beauty and identity through line work, printmaking, and new media. His work spans canvases, clothing, works on paper, and sculpture.
Paula Mans (b. 1986) is a self-taught painter, collagist, and art educator based in Washington, DC. A native Washingtonian, Mans spent many of her formative years living in Tanzania, Mozambique, Eswatini, and Brazil. Her experiences throughout the African Diaspora shaped her identity, politics, and informed the development of her artistic voice. DC.
Genie Ghim is an interdisciplinary artist and expatriate from Washington, D.C. (b. Seoul, Korea). Her practice explores the dynamic interplay between tradition and innovation, reflecting on collective preconceptions and the formation of identity. This research has been shaped by her experiences of navigating multicultural social landscapes, she has lived in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
